Things you will need

A good Microphone

Even some of the best webcams and built in systems can fail you in your quest for professionalism.

We recommend the Shure MV5 Microphone to help you achieve the best quality sound.

A good light source

A quality professional image demands good lighting. Most of our computer systems are setup for our "Functional" use. Now with the need for it also to be a video studio, we recommend a video conferencing light such as this one.

A great camera

If your built-in camera is not cutting it you may need a seperate camera. In addition to a better picture, you may also find it is easier to place the camera to keep your eyes focused on the other person. We recommend this Logitech camera to fulfill both needs.

A solid background

Let's not forget that a picture is worth a thousand words. Tips to remember are: 1) camera should be at eye level, 2) Keep ceilings, ceiling fans, windows, and bright lights away from background, 3) be close to the camera (or zoom it), 4) pictures and plants and simple designs work best.
